Motorcycle sidecar
Motorcycle sidecars have been given an entirely new definition by Francois Knorreck, and one that is quite literal. While most of the world thinks of sidecars as the retro attachments to bikes, Francois created a sidecar that is actually a car, on the side. But it’s easier said than done, it took the man 10 years and nearly 15,000 Euros to complete his work – the Snaefell.
The 1000cc Laverda motorcycle now has three exhausts, and its sidecar is quite a luxury ride as compared to normal sidecars. He used parts from a Kawasaki 1000RX and a number of cars to complete his masterpiece, and we’ll say his effort has gone well. Now let’s see Ural come up with something like this.

The much awaited small car from suzuki, namely the Ritz has finally been launched..INDIA

SQuba, World's First Swimming Car
Three decades ago James Bond (then enacted by British star Roger Moore) wowed the world with a car that could 'fly' under water in the movie The Spy Who Loved Me. Only, it was animation and not an actual scene.
But Frank M Rinderknecht, the 52-year-old automobile visionary and boss of Swiss automaker Rinspeed, has turned a dream into reality with his 'sQuba.'
Rinspeed sQuba is the most exciting thing at this year's Geneva Motor Show and is creating many a ripple.
sQuba is the world's first real submersible car that can 'move like a fish underwater'.
It can dive up to 32.8 feet (10 mt) below the surface of the water and can move at a sedate 1.8 miles per hour.
The sQuba has an open cockpit for 'safety reasons' (so that people can get out easily anytime in case of an emergency). The occupants of the car have to breathe compressed air through built-in scuba masks.
sQuba is an electric car that uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and 3 electric motors for propulsion. It is a zero-emission car as documented by the rotating license plate in the rear. It produces no exhaust emissions.
The 'sQuba's' filling station is the water reservoir.? It is no surprise that the vehicle features powerful yet energy-saving LED lighting technology.
The first car that could drive underwater was Quandt's Amphibicar, built in 1968. Only 3,878 were produced but many are still being driven on roads.
Then Gibbs Technologies came up with Gibbs Aquada in 2004 which Virgin boss Richard Branson used to break the speed record for crossing the English Channel.
However, the sQuba seems to be the most exciting of them all.
To drive on the roads, the sQuba 'relies on a stainless coil-over suspension from KW automotive and large Pirelli tires mounted on custom-made forged light-weight wheels from AEZ with 17- and 18-inch diameters.'

Car Nitrous Injection System (NOS Kit)
You do not need a V8 to fit Nitrous Oxide Injection. So lets carry on...!!
ANY ALL ENGINES,from lawnmowers (been there while testing) and model aircraft engines, up to big diesel marine engines, supercharged, turbocharged, or naturally aspirated can all be boosted with Nitrous Oxide quite safely. Fuel injected, or Carburettor. It makes absolutely no difference. All will work just fine with Nitrous Oxide as a power booster. Only a few small differences between each system are required.
- 1. A bottle or "tank" to store Nitrous Oxide
- 2. A valve for this bottle
- 3. A special fitting that fits this bottle valve and converts to a normal 1/8th BSP thread (British standard pipe thread)
- 4. A braided Stainless steel Nitrous Pipe to feed the Solenoid in the engine bay
- 5. A Nitrous Solenoid!
- 6. A Fuel Solenoid!
- 7. A Tee piece or other means of supplying fuel to the Fuel Solenoid - depends on vehicle
- 8. A Jet Holder for the Nitrous jet. (1/8th BSP to 4mm O/D Nylon with nut and olive)
- 9. A Jet Holder for the Fuel Jet. (1/8th BSP to 4mm O/D Nylon with nut and olive)
10. Some 4mm O/D Nylon pipe to connect the solenoids to the point of injection - 11. Nitrous/Fuel Injector - or occasionally more than 1 depending on engine configuration
- 12. Assorted brackets and mounting hardware, cable ties, grommets, wiring etc
- 13. An arming switch
- 14. Throttle operated Micro-Switch or other alternative

LUXURY ALL0Y WHEELX
Ford's key-with-a-chip to control teen drivers
Ford Motor has found a new way for parents to keep teen drivers in check when they lend them the car, the company said Monday.MyKey, a car key with a chip, can be programmed to curtail the top speed of its user to 80 mph. The MyKey will come standard with the 2010 Focus coupe and eventually will be available on other Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models, according to Ford.In addition to implementing a speed limit, the key can be used to limit the volume of the car stereo system and emit a chime for six seconds every five minutes until the driver puts on a seatbelt.MyKey can also be programmed to chime once each time the car reaches 45 mph, 55 mph, and 65 mph to alert young drivers about their acceleration. Another feature, useful to anyone who fails to notice when the fuel light goes on, chimes when the car is 75 miles from empty. (The light on a Ford usually goes on at 50 miles to empty.)The new gadget is part of Ford's Driving Skills for Life program, which is dedicated to educating drivers not only about safety but also on techniques for reducing fuel consumption..!!

Beware of car jackers!
I was reading this article in the news paper and thought of sharing this vital info. with u guys. so here it is:
1. Don't park ur car near isolated or visually obstructed areas near walls or heavy foliage, and at night always park ur car in welllighted areas.
2. As u approach ur car always look around, under and inside it and if safe, open the door, enter quickly and lock and drive immediately.
3. In the city always drive with ur car doors locked and windows rolled up(if possible i.e. only when u have an A/C in ur car).
4. If ur bumped in traffic, by young males, be suspicious of accident.
5. Beware of the good samaritan who offers u help for repair of car or tyre. Help is good but be alert.
6. Never offer lift to starngers, even to a women or to an old man unless u r satisfied.
7. Never try to speed up ur car when u r signalled to stop by some suspicious armed person, they can open fire on ur can in frustration. use ur common sense and act responsibly.
8. If u r confronted by an armed jacker, stay calm and don't resist. Give up ur keys, money, cellphone etc. If demanded.
9. If a carjacker has entered ur car and u r forced to drive, consider crashing ur car near a busy intersection/place to attract public attention so that bystanders can come to ur help and call the police, but be sure that ur not within the range of the gun or any other weapon of the hijackers while attempting to do so. This should be 100% ensured because ur personal safety is of utmost importance.Regards.
